Jeonbuk Governor Song Ha-jin Ranks 3rd Nationwide in Job Performance Evaluation

In particular, among re-elected city and provincial governors, he ranked 1st nationwide.
According to the results of the January nationwide evaluation of job performance and resident life satisfaction of 17 metropolitan mayors and provincial governors announced by the polling agency Realmeter on the 11th, Governor Song Ha-jin's approval rating ("doing well" positive evaluation) rose two steps to 52.9% compared to the December survey last year, ranking 3rd among governors and 4th overall.
In the resident life satisfaction survey of cities and provinces conducted together by Realmeter this time, Jeonbuk also rose one step from the previous month's survey to 54.4%, ranking 6th among all cities and provinces and 4th among provinces, placing it in the upper ranks.
Additionally, according to a survey by Korea Gallup conducted over six months in the second half of 2019 with 23,069 adults nationwide, asking whether they thought their local city or provincial governor was performing their duties well or poorly, Governor Song received a positive job performance rate of 55%, with the negative rate more than 30 percentage points lower, receiving generally positive evaluations from the residents of the province and forming a high-ranking position.
Meanwhile, in Realmeter's January survey, the average positive evaluation (approval rating) of all 17 city and provincial governors was 46.1% (-0.2%p from December's 46.3%), and the average negative evaluation was 41.8% (-0.1%p from December's 41.7%).

This poll was conducted by Realmeter from the 28th of last month to the 3rd of this month, targeting 17,000 voters aged 19 and over nationwide (1,000 per metropolitan city and province, two-month rolling for December and January) using random digit dialing (RDD) automatic response telephone method for both landline and mobile phones. The sampling error is 95%, with a confidence level of ±3.1%p.
