[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Woori Card announced on the 10th that it has launched the 'Card's Jeongseok Mileage Asiana Club' in collaboration with Asiana Airlines.
This card accumulates a basic 1.3 mileage points per 1,000 KRW spent with no accumulation limit. For overseas one-time payments, an additional 1.2 mileage points are earned on top of the basic accumulation, allowing up to 2.5 mileage points per 1,000 KRW spent. However, the additional mileage points can only be accumulated up to 2,400 points per month.
If the previous month's spending exceeds 500,000 KRW, cardholders can enjoy free access to airport lounges worldwide and premium tour services. Lounge access is limited to once per month, with a maximum of three free visits per year, and requires installation of The Lounge Members app for use.
There is also a premium tour service that offers benefits for domestic travel. When staying two consecutive nights at domestic caravans or glamping sites, one night is free, and when renting a car in Jeju Island for 48 hours or more consecutively, 24 hours of free use is provided. If this card is issued as an international card (Mastercard or Visa brand), platinum-level services provided by the brand company are also available. The annual fee is 39,000 KRW for both domestic-only and international versions.
Woori Card is also holding an event to commemorate the card launch. From the 10th of next month until the end of April, customers who apply for the event and have a total spending of 500,000 KRW or more will be entered into a draw where a total of 300 winners will receive an additional 2,500 mileage points.
