Gyeonggi-do to Recruit 5,680 People This Year
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province and 31 cities and counties within the province will hire 5,680 new public officials this year.
On the 6th, Gyeonggi Province announced the plan for hiring new public officials this year on the exam information section of the Gyeonggi Province website (http://www.gg.go.kr).
The number of hires is as follows: ▲ Grade 7 - 131 ▲ Grades 8 and 9 - 4,978 ▲ Researchers and instructors - 67 ▲ Veterinary Grade 7 - 25 ▲ Grades 8 and 9 - 479.
In particular, for the facilities positions (general civil engineering, architecture), which had a high vacancy rate last year due to failing scores, the province decided to conduct both open competitive recruitment exams and career competitive recruitment exams simultaneously for prompt replenishment.
This year, to expand opportunities for socially disadvantaged groups to enter public service, the province will hire 325 persons with disabilities and 169 from low-income households. Additionally, 74 technical high school and Meister high school graduates (or expected graduates) will be hired.
