Lotte Food's 'Uiseong Garlic Smoked Duck Slice' Sells 500,000 Units in 100 Days Since Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Lotte Foods announced on the 5th that its ‘Uiseong Garlic Smoked Duck Slice,’ launched at the end of October last year, sold 500,000 units within 100 days of its release.
The Uiseong Garlic Smoked Duck Slice is made by smoking 100% domestically sourced duck meat and slicing it thickly. It is seasoned with a sauce made from aromatic Uiseong garlic, offering a deep flavor along with a clean and refreshing taste.
This product reduces the cumbersome cooking process of smoking and slicing the duck into uniform sizes, allowing consumers to easily enjoy smoked duck at home. Each pack contains 400g, making it suitable for 1 to 2 people as a side dish or snack.
Since signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Uiseong County in 2006, Lotte Foods has released various products using Uiseong garlic, including Uiseong Garlic Ham, over 14 years. Uiseong Garlic Ham uses Uiseong’s six-clove garlic, known for its large cloves and excellent taste, which eliminates the unique odor of meat and enhances satisfaction with its subtle aroma when grilled.
