Kim Gun-mo's Mother Lee Sun-mi, Recently Experienced Health Decline
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] News has emerged about the deteriorating health of singer Kim Gun-mo's mother, who has been embroiled in sexual assault allegations.
On the 3rd, Woman Sense reported that the health of Lee Sun-mi, Kim Gun-mo's mother, has recently worsened.
According to Woman Sense, Kim Gun-mo's sister-in-law Jo stated, "My mother, who has usually been in poor health, has recently gotten worse. Everything is a delicate situation."
Last year, Lee stopped appearing on the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' due to health reasons but recently returned. However, she ultimately withdrew following the sexual assault allegations against Kim Gun-mo. At the time of her return, Lee had revealed, "I was going back and forth between home and the hospital because I was sick."
Earlier, the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon) filed a complaint on behalf of a woman, A, who claimed she was sexually assaulted by Kim Gun-mo starting December 9 of last year. In response, Kim Gun-mo denied the allegations as "groundless" and countersued A for false accusation.

On the 15th of the same month, Kim Gun-mo appeared at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul as a suspect and was questioned. Kim Gun-mo's lawyer stated, "There are many facts different from what many people speculate and imagine. We have submitted materials that differ from the statements of those who initially raised this issue."
