Interest in Photocatalyst Air Purifier 'Puripot' Due to Novel Coronavirus
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Interest is focusing on the antibacterial and sterilization capabilities of 'Puripot,' a titanium dioxide photocatalyst-based air purifier developed with proprietary technology by Dadam Micro and sold in domestic and international markets.
According to Dadam Micro on the 3rd, the Puripot air purifier uses a technology that instantly generates a high-efficiency hydroxyl radical air purification substance designed to react to blue visible light in the 460 nm wavelength range, decomposing viruses in the air at the molecular level. In particular, because it uses blue visible light, it produces no ozone and poses no risk of ultraviolet exposure, and it is an eco-friendly personal air purifier based on new technology that requires no replacement filters.
Currently, Puripot products sold using this technology in online and offline markets include the personal 'Puripot P1' series and the vehicle 'M1' series, with follow-up new models such as the frame-type 'Puripot F1' series and lamp-type 'Puripot L1' series scheduled for release earlier this year. The F1 series is slimly designed and can be used as a wall-mounted or stand type, suitable for homes or places with many people such as hotels, hospitals, academies, childcare classrooms, and restaurants. The lamp-type 'Puripot L1' series can be used anywhere indoors where lighting is needed.
