The police have suspended drunk driving crackdowns in major entertainment districts in Seoul and decided to conduct selective crackdowns only in suspected drunk driving situations, such as zigzag driving. A police official said, "We will not use breathalyzers and will not repeatedly use measuring devices to check for alcohol consumption," adding, "If an accident occurs or a drunk driving report is made to 112, we will measure alcohol levels on the spot."
