Fortune-telling shop, mart, massage parlor... Patient 5, despite knowing body ache, roamed around Seoul (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The fifth confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) in South Korea used public transportation around Seoul for three days after symptom onset, visiting restaurants, fortune-telling shops, wedding shops, and came into contact with 29 people.
Jung Eun-kyung, Director of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stated in a briefing on the 1st, "The fifth patient visited restaurants, supermarkets, and wedding shops using buses after symptom onset and stayed on the bus for extended periods." The CGV Seongsin Women's University Entrance Branch, which the patient reportedly visited, was before symptom onset and thus was not included in the movement path.
The fifth patient, a 33-year-old Korean male, visited Wuhan, China for work and returned on the 24th of last month. He had a history of asthma and experienced intermittent coughing without fever but felt body aches from the afternoon of the 26th and took cold medicine.
On the 26th, the patient visited a fortune-teller (Seonnyeo Bosal) in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, then moved to accommodation in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, where he stayed and visited nearby convenience stores (Emart24, GS25) and a supermarket (Dukkeobi Mart).
On the morning of the 27th, he visited a variety store (Daiso) and a massage shop (Sunho Care) in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. In the afternoon, he used a restaurant (Donam-dong Tteokbokki) and supermarkets (Dukkeobi Mart, Lucky Mart).
On the 28th, he stayed at the accommodation in Seongbuk-gu, then took a bus to a beauty facility in Jungnang-gu, Seoul. Afterwards, he visited a supermarket (Garak Hall Mart) and a restaurant (Igane Bajirak Kalguksu) in Jungnang-gu. He then took the subway to a wedding shop (Wise Wedding) in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and used the subway to return home.
On the 29th, he used his father's vehicle to go to the Jungnang-gu Public Health Center for testing and then returned home. On the following day, the 30th, he stayed at home, was confirmed positive, and was transferred to Seoul Medical Center.

The number of contacts for the fifth patient has been confirmed as 29 so far. The ninth patient, a 28-year-old woman, was a contact of this patient and has now been confirmed positive.
