[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seong-yeol] A naval officer was arrested by the police for assaulting the owner and employees while intoxicated at a singing bar.
The Changwon Jungbu Police Station in Gyeongnam announced on the 31st that they arrested Navy Captain A (32) on charges of assault in flagrante delicto.
Captain A is accused of assaulting an employee and the owner who tried to stop him at a singing bar in Sangnam-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon City, around 12:20 a.m. on the 30th while being heavily intoxicated.
At the time, Captain A had come alone to the karaoke room, drank alcohol, and was investigated to have used abusive language and committed assault while intoxicated.
