View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 30th that it has formed a transport support team for suspected cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) and is operating it 24 hours a day.
The transport support team operates negative pressure ambulances and dedicated infectious disease ambulance teams. There is one negative pressure ambulance each at Gangdong and Seodaemun Fire Stations, and dedicated ambulance teams are deployed at 24 fire stations. They also secure and purchase supplies to prevent secondary infections.

If paramedics dispatched to the scene come into contact with suspected infectious disease patients, they are isolated in an infection observation room until the infectious disease is confirmed. Equipment and vehicles are disinfected in the infection control room to prevent secondary infections and spread.
