Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Holds Policy Forum on 'Support for Independent Living of Out-of-School Youth'
Over 100 Participants from Related Organizations Expected at Haja Center in Seoul on the 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family will hold a policy forum on the 22nd at the Haja Center in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to prepare "Support Measures for the Independence of Out-of-School Youth."
This forum is the first in a series of discussions continuing youth policies, with about 100 participants including organizations related to out-of-school youth and the Korea Youth Policy Institute.
The forum will proceed in the order of a keynote presentation, expert discussions by field, presentations on experiences receiving support services for out-of-school youth, followed by a comprehensive discussion and Q&A session.

Based on the contents of this forum, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family plans to actively promote vocational training at Naeil-Irum School and customized academic support in cooperation with institutions supporting out-of-school youth.
