"60-Year-Old Man Wields Weapon at Ex-Wife and Two Others After Drinking with Another Man"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] A man in his 60s who wielded a weapon at three people, including his ex-wife, for drinking with another man has been arrested.
On the 20th, the Jinhae Police Station in Gyeongnam announced that they had arrested Mr. A (62) on charges of causing injury to three people, including his ex-wife Ms. B (52) (special assault).
Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon and injuring men Mr. C and Mr. D, who were drinking with Ms. B near Yongwon Fish Market in Jinhae-gu around 5 p.m. on the 14th.
According to the police, the victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition without life-threatening injuries.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated that he only intended to threaten with the weapon and did not mean to cause injury.
