Jeonbuk Province to Specially Operate Hope Legal Counseling Center for Lunar New Year Holidays from 24th to 27th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Jeonbuk Province announced on the 20th that it will provide free hope legal consultations for residents from the 24th to the 27th during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
The Lunar New Year is the first holiday of the year, a joyful time when families and relatives who do not often meet can gather in one place. However, frequent disputes, both large and small, occur due to underlying generational conflicts, religious conflicts, and property disputes in daily life.
Accordingly, the province has prepared this free hope legal consultation to alleviate the psychological burden of residents that may arise during the Lunar New Year holiday and to provide legal services as a preventive measure against various incidents and accidents.
This free legal consultation during the Lunar New Year, held for the second time following last Chuseok, allows residents to apply by phone from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., after which a responsible official will connect them with a lawyer for a free telephone consultation.
Im Sang-gyu, Director of Planning and Coordination at Jeonbuk Province, said, “We will strive to provide free legal consultation services to residents who urgently need legal advice during the Lunar New Year so that they are not excluded from the law or suffer unfair damage and can enjoy a happy holiday.”
