GLOSFER Labs Acquires Next-Generation Data Security Core Technology... "Establishing Subsidiary to Accelerate Business"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Glosfer Labs announced on the 20th that it has acquired the core technology related to next-generation Data Stealth developed by CIDISC and plans to develop and service a 'next-generation blockchain-based convergence security product.'
Glosfer Labs jointly established 'Data Stealth Technology (hereinafter DST)' with CIDISC to promote the related business. This newly established corporation will be incorporated as a subsidiary with Glosfer Labs securing 51% of the shares.
The Data Stealth technology developed by CIDISC uses a proprietary file system different from the file system of existing operating systems (OS) to store and manage files, thereby providing the highest level of confidentiality and security for data stored in the DST domain.
A company official stated, “DST has been recognized for its advanced technology and creativity, and patents have been registered in Korea, the United States, China, Japan, and the EU. Domestically, it has already begun to be offered as a value-added service by mobile carriers.”
A Glosfer Labs representative added, “As seen in recent cloud data leakage incidents, the current ICT market requires innovative technology that can break the vicious cycle of hacking, damage occurrence, and aftercare. We plan to innovatively improve data protection, the biggest vulnerability across not only the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem but also the entire IoT industry, by integrating the world's first Data Stealth technology with blockchain technology.”
