Yuhan-Kimberly's 'Our Rivers and Mountains Green and Greener' Campaign Wins at Seoul Video Advertising Festival
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 13th that its ‘Uri Gangsan Pureuge Pureuge’ campaign advertisement won the Silver Award in the TV category at the 17th Seoul Video Advertising Festival.
Since launching the campaign in 1984, Yuhan-Kimberly has planted and nurtured over 52 million trees over the past 37 years, communicating the value and importance of forests and trees based on the philosophy of ‘coexistence between forests and people.’
The award-winning works consist of two consecutive pieces titled ‘Dawn of the Tree’ and ‘Night of the Tree,’ created with a fairy-tale-like imagination.
The advertisement depicts the efforts of trees working behind the scenes for the health of school children who spend the longest time of the day at school. It personifies the benefits of trees that wake up earlier than anyone else to prepare for the children, trap fine dust on their leaves, endure the scorching sunlight during the day, and lower the urban temperature at night to provide clean and fresh morning air.
The advertisement was praised by consumers for its fresh concept of trees working overtime and effectively showcasing the abilities and value of trees.
