Park Young-sun to Assume Director Position at Davos Forum... First Korean Minister to Do So

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Park Young-sun, Minister of SMEs and Startups, has become the first Korean minister to hold a board member position at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting (Davos Forum).
According to the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on the 12th, Minister Park will serve as a board member at the Davos Forum held in Davos, Switzerland later this month.
On the 10th, Minister Park introduced her appointment as a Davos Forum board member on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' stating, "This means that the Davos Forum places great importance on policies for small businesses and startups."
Earlier, on the 3rd of this month, Minister Park explained at a meeting with reporters, "I was offered a board member position at the Davos Forum, the first among Korean ministers," adding, "Since the English name of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups includes 'Startups,' it acknowledges that Korea prioritizes policies for small businesses and startups."
