Jeongeup-si Conducts Resident Registration Fact-Finding Survey
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeongeup City, Jeonbuk Province announced on the 10th that it will conduct the '2020 Resident Registration Fact-Finding Survey' by March 20 to verify the registered resident information and actual residence status.
The city plans for township, town, and neighborhood officials or community leaders to visit each household directly to investigate the resident registration details and actual residence status of Jeongeup citizens.
The resident registration fact-finding survey is a system conducted to clearly understand population dynamics such as residents' living relationships, improve residents' convenience, and properly handle administrative affairs.
The main focus of this survey will be on those who have not reported changes of residence, cases of false registration, verification of survival status of suspected deceased persons, long-term absentees, and school-age children not attending school.
As a result of the survey, unauthorized movers and false reporters will be required to correct their resident registration status, and those with unknown residence will be actively encouraged to re-register.
Those who voluntarily report during the survey period can receive a reduction of up to three-quarters of the imposed fine amount.
