A Social Worker Habitually Assaults a Disabled Person... Even Forces the "Wonsan Bombing"

On the 3rd, Daegu Jungbu Police Station announced that they had referred social worker A (35) to the prosecution without detention on charges of repeatedly assaulting disabled persons (violation of the Disabled Welfare Act).
A is accused of working at a facility for the disabled from January to August last year and assaulting B (37) more than 10 times, causing injuries including a broken rib and a four-week recovery period.
Additionally, the police confirmed that A assaulted four other facility users about 20 times. Analysis of CCTV footage revealed that A choked disabled individuals by the neck with their arm, kicked their sides with their feet, and forced them into the so-called ‘Wonsan bombing’ posture, where the victim’s hands are tied behind their back and their head is slammed into the ground.
