Jeonbuk Province to Hire 51 Talents in the First Half of the Year Across 11 Public Institutions
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Jeonbuk Province announced on the 3rd that it will issue an integrated announcement of recruitment plans to hire 51 new employees in the first half of this year across 11 public institutions under its jurisdiction.
The types of recruitment include 31 open competitive positions and 6 experienced competitive positions, with a special plan to select 14 candidates through a restricted competition for persons with disabilities.
The integrated announcement of recruitment plans is conducted according to the Jeonbuk Province public institution employee recruitment guidelines and can be found on the Jeonbuk Province website (Exam·Recruitment Announcements), Clean Eye Job Plus, the respective public institutions’ websites, and major university websites within the province. The integrated announcement will also be posted on employment-related bulletin boards.
Since the specific details of the recruitment plans for each institution may vary, applicants must refer to the announcement schedules of each institution and verify the recruitment announcement details of the respective institution.
The province is putting great effort into the recruitment of persons with disabilities in this recruitment plan.
According to the Act on the Promotion of Employment and Vocational Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons, institutions are required to employ at least 3.4% persons with disabilities. Institutions that have failed to comply due to reasons such as an increase in the number of staff or retirement of existing disabled employees will fulfill their employment obligations through restricted competition for persons with disabilities.
In particular, this year, compared to last year, the province plans to expand and implement a special selection process exclusively for persons with disabilities, taking the lead in realizing social value as a public institution.
Meanwhile, starting from the second half of this year, to strengthen the fairness of recruitment in public institutions, the written examinations conducted by each public institution under Jeonbuk Province will be integrated and administered under the supervision of Jeonbuk Province.
A Jeonbuk Province official stated, “This integrated announcement of recruitment plans will widely inform residents about job opportunities in public institutions, thereby providing fair recruitment opportunities. We will continue to strive to eradicate recruitment corruption and improve the management of public enterprises and affiliated institutions within the province to continuously expand quality jobs.”
