In celebration of International Puppy Day (March 23), the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and Kakao Mobility have released the 'Daengdaeng Travel Map', featuring 10 recommended spring destinations where you can travel with your pets.
The selected 10 destinations include major attractions across the country such as ▲Bomun Tourist Complex in Gyeongju (Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do) ▲Suseong Lake Resort (Daegu) ▲Ocheon Green Square (Suncheon, Jeollanam-do) ▲Iksan Prison Set (Iksan, Jeollabuk-do). By clicking on each destination on the map, you can find tourism information, visit ratios by day of the week, and the TOP 3 nearby popular spots to visit with your pet.

The Daengdaeng Travel Map was created using the 'Top 100 Pet Tourism Resources' selected by the KTO and one year (February 2024 to January 2025) of route guidance data from Kakao Navi. The popular nearby destinations were determined by analyzing Kakao Navi movement data from March to May last year, taking seasonal factors into account.
The Daengdaeng Travel Map can be found on the KTO's domestic travel information platform 'Korea Tour', as well as on the Kakao T and Kakao Navi applications.
Lee Sangmin, Director of National Tourism at KTO, stated, "We created this map to provide customized travel information in response to the increasing demand for pet-friendly travel," and added, "KTO will continue to introduce useful content that matches trends through private sector cooperation in the future."
