This year's competition featured high-level performances in dressage and show jumping, with participants ranging from elementary, middle, and high school students to university athletes from across the country.
The event served as a meaningful stage for student athletes to showcase and compete with the skills they have honed over time. It was also recognized as a competition that contributed to expanding the base of student equestrian activities, discovering promising athletes, and enhancing overall performance levels.
During the competition, a large number of athletes and officials from all over the country participated. Nearly 300 horses, which is close to the full capacity of the Sangju International Equestrian Center's competition stables, were brought in, underscoring the high level of interest and enthusiasm surrounding the event.
Additionally, the increased use of local accommodations and restaurants during the competition period was found to have helped revitalize the regional economy.
Lee Jaegil, Director of the International Equestrian Center Management Office, stated, "This year's National Student Equestrian Competition provided a meaningful stage for student athletes to compete and grow. We will continue to host national-level equestrian competitions in the future, contributing to the development of student equestrian sports in Korea and the activation of the local horse industry."
