First, through the “Customized Support System for Foundational Mathematics and Science Achievement,” students in elementary, middle, and high school will undergo academic assessments tailored to each stage of their educational life cycle. Based on the results, individualized supplemental programs will be provided to each student in order to prevent learning deficits at an early stage.
In particular, a "one-on-one personalized learning prescription," which combines advanced AI diagnostic tools with in-depth teacher counseling, will be introduced to further strengthen accountability in public education. In addition, “regional joint education hub centers” and “shared schools” will be operated to integrate the region’s educational infrastructure. The hub centers will serve as collaborative educational platforms linking schools, education offices, universities, and local businesses, offering dedicated spaces and equipment for experimentation and hands-on learning, as well as close support from expert mentors.
In addition, shared schools open to all students from elementary to high school will provide intensive education and blended online-offline learning opportunities after school, on weekends, and during school vacations, and will introduce student-led participation programs that allow students to propose and shape their own classes.
The “AI and data-linked inquiry and research programs” aimed at strengthening students’ practical capabilities will also be significantly expanded. Students will be assigned project-based research tasks on local community and industry issues, and a collaborative system with experts such as university professors and industry professionals will be established to foster students’ real-world future problem-solving skills.

Candidate Kim stressed, “We will reform education so that mathematics and science are no longer difficult subjects, but become ‘enjoyable processes’ to understand and explore. By expanding a variety of programs that allow our students to learn, experience, and imagine concepts and principles from elementary school onward, we will help them grow into future talents who can lead the AI and data era.”
