On May 19, Ulju-gun held the "1st Meeting of the 6th Community Security Plan Establishment Task Force Team (2027–2030)" at the Ewha Hall in the county office.
The meeting was attended by 39 task force team members, including the Director of Welfare and Environment at Ulju-gun, team leaders from related departments, welfare institution and facility officials, and local residents.
The participants shared the direction for promoting the establishment of the 6th Community Security Plan and the upcoming schedule, and discussed how the task force team would operate and what roles it would play. In addition, they exchanged a variety of opinions on effective ways to formulate a plan that incorporates major welfare issues in the region and the welfare needs of local residents.
The 6th Community Security Plan is a statutory plan established in accordance with the "Act on the Use, Provision, and Discovery of Social Security Benefits and Beneficiaries." It will set forth Ulju-gun's community security policy direction and implementation strategies for four years, from next year through 2030.
Ulju-gun plans to create a customized community security plan that reflects local characteristics by gathering residents' opinions and holding meetings by sector moving forward.
