SLL to Produce Musical Adaptation of Drama "The Light in Your Eyes"
Staged in Gangnam This June
Nationwide Tour and Expansion into Japan Planned
SLL, the production company behind the drama "The Light in Your Eyes," will present a musical adaptation of the same title. The show will be staged at Baekam Art Hall in Gangnam from June 16 to July 19, 2026.
The story revolves around Hyeja, who gains the ability to turn back time but suddenly becomes old overnight, leading her to reflect on her youth. The production highlights the importance of family, love, and everyday life.
The role of the older Hyeja will be played by Song Ok-sook, Kim Sun-kyung, and Lim Seon-ae, while Kang Se-jung, Shin Go-eun, and Kim Na-hee will portray the younger Hyeja. Hyeja's lover Junha will be played by Seo Jun-young, Shin Jung-yoo, and Yoon Seo-bin. Other cast members include Jo Young-jin, Kang Jin-hwi, Sung No-jin, Park Jena, Lee Jeong-eun, Lee Won-jang, and Byun Jin-soo.

Following the Seoul run, SLL plans to launch a nationwide tour and a licensed performance in Japan. A company representative stated, "We aim to connect with audiences by expanding the drama's intellectual property (IP) into a stage production," adding, "We plan to broaden our range of licenses and global business initiatives."
