Samyang Group and Huvis announced that approximately 1,700 children and their families participated in the "28th Nature Love Blue Heart Drawing Festival," which took place at the Huvis Jeonju plant on May 16.

Launched in 1996, the Nature Love Blue Heart Drawing Festival is Samyang Group's flagship social contribution program, now in its 30th year. This year’s event was co-hosted by the Sudang Foundation, Samyang Group’s scholarship foundation, Huvis, a chemical and fiber materials company, and Samyang Group affiliates Samyangsa and Samyang Hwasung. The event was supported by the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment and the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education.

The festival was designed to help children learn about the importance of nature and environmental protection through drawing and hands-on environmental activities. Around 600 kindergarten and elementary school students from across the country participated, creating drawings on the themes of "Our Joyful Neighborhood with the Earth" and "Our Breathing Neighborhood with Future Technology."

On-site, environmentally themed activities tailored for children were also offered, such as making keyrings from recycled materials, decorating Earth-shaped grip-toks, and crafting cherry tomato seed balls. In addition, an "Eco Flea Market" was held, where items like toys, books, and clothing were sold directly, promoting the importance of resource recycling.

Bae Yongjun, Plant Manager of Samyangsa Jeonju EP Plant, said, "We hope this event will give children an opportunity to naturally learn about and practice the importance of environmental protection in a fun and safe environment."

This year’s drawing contest will award a total of 60 winners, including three Grand Prize recipients, with a combined prize fund of 14.7 million won. The winners will be announced on the official website on June 5.
