On Sunday, May 17, the weather across the country will be mostly clear, and daytime temperatures are expected to rise significantly, bringing early summer-like heat.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the morning low temperatures on this day are forecast to range from 12 to 19 degrees Celsius, while the daytime high temperatures will range from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius. In most regions nationwide, daytime temperatures will climb to around 30 degrees Celsius, and in the southern part of North Gyeongsang Province, the maximum perceived temperature is expected to soar to around 31 degrees Celsius.

The skies will be mostly clear across the country, with no rain in the forecast. However, from early morning to morning, some areas including Incheon, the west coast of Gyeonggi Province, parts of South Chungcheong Province, and parts of Jeolla Province may experience fog that reduces visibility.

Sea conditions are expected to be relatively calm. Waves off the east coast are forecast to be 0.5 to 1.0 meters high, while waves off the west and south coasts are expected to be around 0.5 meters.
