This agreement will be used to expand classrooms and provide operational support for the boarding school, which is supported by the Nanum and Future Association. The goal is to offer Dalit children—who, as the lowest caste in India, suffer severe economic and social discrimination—a comfortable living environment and a stable learning space.
Sungyong Park, CEO of Samhae ENC, stated, “Just as our offshore wind power projects turn the strong winds of the sea into warm energy for people, we hope our donation will become a source of hope and energy that brightens the future for children in India facing challenging circumstances.”
Kyungyong Song, Chairman of the Nanum and Future Association, expressed, “We hope that, through this donation, the hands of more Dalit children will help create a beautiful world. We deeply appreciate this meaningful act of sharing.”
The agreement ceremony was attended by Kanghak Kim, Chairman of Myungwoon Industrial Development; Jongyoung Jung, President of Myungwoon Industrial Development; Sungyong Park, CEO of Samhae ENC; Sejoon Park, Deputy General Manager at Samhae ENC; Kyungyong Song, Chairman of the Nanum and Future Association; Hyorae Jeon, Secretary General of the Nanum and Future Association; and Sunghyun Jeong, Assistant Secretary General of the Nanum and Future Association.
Samhae ENC is a company specializing in offshore wind power EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and has been carrying out the country’s largest privately led offshore project, the Nakwol Offshore Wind Power Project (364.8MW), since 2024.
