This support is part of the Association's efforts to implement ESG management and reduce insurance claims, and has been promoted to improve the management of rainwater gutters, which are a major cause of flooding during heavy rainfall.
The produced stickers will be attached to rainwater gutters in each local government area to help prevent illegal dumping of cigarette butts and household waste, and are expected to raise public awareness and encourage voluntary participation. In particular, the use of these rainwater gutter location notification stickers has been selected by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as an "excellent case of rainwater gutter maintenance."
The unique identification number printed on the sticker is linked to the Safe Report app, allowing citizens to immediately report blockages or damage, and enabling local governments to manage rainwater gutters more systematically.
Rainwater gutters play a key role in preventing urban flooding, but if blocked by trash, they can lose their drainage function during heavy rains, leading to significant damage. Ahead of the monsoon season, the Association has decided to provide proactive support to help local governments manage natural disasters and prevent accidents involving assets covered by its insurance programs.
