They also decided to jointly pursue innovative policies, such as the "iMom Taxi," which is currently operated by each district. Candidate Kim proposed the creation of a working-level consultative body covering the entire Northwest area with Eunpyeong at its center, and announced plans to regularly monitor the implementation of these policies.
During her candidacy announcement, Kim stated that "the future of Eunpyeong depends on a close regional integration strategy with neighboring districts." Kim's camp explained that this agreement is a concrete realization of that vision in the form of policy. According to Kim's camp, the intention is to move away from responses based solely on administrative district units and to operate a "Northwest Regional Cooperation System" tailored to citizens' living areas.
Jung Wono, the Seoul Mayoral candidate, said, "The three Northwest districts have already made significant progress toward reaching a joint agreement, but there were delays due to changes in district mayors. My pledge, and the core of the Global G2 initiative, is to further expand business districts in the Northwest area. In line with this, the three Northwest districts and Seoul City will join efforts to promote economic development and revitalization in the Northwest region."
