Jeong commented, "This person stood in front of armored vehicles during the 12·3 Martial Law. The reason lawmakers had time to lift martial law was largely because of the strength of ordinary citizens like Mr. Yoo." He went on to emphasize, "This election is a golden opportunity to support the success of the Lee Jaemyung administration. Gangwon Province is Usangho. We must establish a local government that works effectively, like President Lee Jaemyung, to pave the way for a major national leap forward."
Usangho, candidate for governor of Gangwon Province, stated, "Calls for new change and leadership replacement are heating up across all regions of Gangwon Province, which has experienced two consecutive years of negative growth and now faces the crisis of population extinction due to outmigration. As the person sent by the President, I, Usangho, have brought the blueprint to solve these issues."
