Dongkuk Steel Group announced on May 8 that, in celebration of Parents’ Day, it delivered gifts of appreciation to the parents of overseas expatriate employees currently residing in Korea.
According to Dongkuk Steel Group, the company sent premium Korean beef gift sets and a letter of gratitude from Vice Chairman Jang Sae-wook to the parents of 39 expatriate employees working in ten countries, including the United States, Japan, Mexico, India, Thailand, Poland, China, Vietnam, Australia, and Germany.
In his letter, Vice Chairman Jang wrote, “Whenever I think of our employees and executives devotedly working far from home, I empathize first as a parent before a manager. I extend my heartfelt gratitude and respect, and wish your family abundant health and happiness.”
The company also continued its community sharing activities. In recognition of Family Month in May, Dongkuk Steel delivered snacks and refurbished information technology (IT) devices to the Sindangkum Public Community Child Center and the Yeon-ga Community Child Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.
