Jang Woo Ham made a strong impression in his first appearance at LIV Golf.
On May 7 (local time), at Trump National Golf Club (par 72) in Washington, D.C., United States, he recorded six birdies and two bogeys in the first round of LIV Golf Virginia, which has a total prize fund of 30 million dollars. Jang Woo Ham shot a 4-under-par 68, placing him in a tie for 7th, four strokes behind the leader Lucas Herbert of Australia, who shot an 8-under-par 64.

Korean-American Anthony Kim is tied for 7th, while Bryson DeChambeau (United States) and Jon Rahm (Spain) are tied for 11th at 3-under-par 69.

Younghan Song, representing Korean Golf Club, joined the group tied for 11th after carding one eagle, three birdies, and two bogeys. Byeonghun An and Canadian-Korean Richard T. Lee are tied for 43rd at 1-over-par 73, while Minkyu Kim and New Zealand-Korean Danny Lee are tied for 50th at 3-over-par 75. A total of 57 players participated in this tournament.
