"Not Just for Kids"... KidZania Evolves into an Experiential Platform for All Generations
"KizAniaNya" Adult Program a Hit
Expansion of Family-Oriented Content and New Experience Centers
Global children's job experience theme park KidZania is transforming from a child-centered space into a comprehensive experiential platform that embraces all generations.
By expanding its offerings to include programs for adults, family participation events, and intergenerational self-directed experiential content, KidZania is establishing itself as a new cultural space for unique experiences.
KidZania recently announced that it is accelerating the diversification of its customer base through initiatives such as the adult-oriented program "KizAniaNya," family-oriented content, and the expansion of new experience centers.
First launched in December 2023, "KizAniaNya" is designed to invite a generation that experienced KidZania as children to return as adults. It has gained attention as a unique experiential space that appeals to Millennials & Gen Z’s sense of nostalgia, attracting friends and couples. To date, all 18 sessions have sold out.
In May, in celebration of Family Month, KidZania will further strengthen its role as a "family experience platform." The existing job experience programs for children will be extended to family units, with special programs allowing parents and children to participate together.
From May 1 to May 10, a parent participation event will be held, and during Children's Day week on May 4 and 5, special gift events for children will be organized in collaboration with partner companies.
The experiential content will also be significantly upgraded. KidZania Seoul will introduce the "Patent Court" experience center in collaboration with the Korean Intellectual Property Office, as well as the "Acting School" experience center in partnership with ItsShowCompany.
At the "Patent Court," participants can use hero cards to experience patent trial procedures and gain an understanding of the role of a public-interest patent attorney. The "Acting School" will offer performance-based experiential content with programs that change each season. The existing "Dairy Product Development Center" will be revamped as the "Dairy Research Institute" in partnership with Seoul Dairy Cooperative.
KidZania Busan has also completely renewed its popular "Cooking School" and "Ramen Research Center." The hands-on experience elements, where children plan and complete activities themselves, have been strengthened, and a new menu item, "Red Horse Ketchup Rice & Ketchup Heart Potato," has been introduced to enhance the overall experience.
Self-guided experience centers open to all generations are also receiving a positive response. KidZania Seoul currently operates complex spaces that combine creative, exploratory, and relaxation functions, including the Barche Lounge, Animation Studio, CSI Forensics, Architecture Office, and Emergency Medical Center.
Similarly, KidZania Busan is expanding family participation through immersive content that spans technical and physical activities, such as the Court, CSI Forensics, KZ Entertainment, and Dance Stage.
