IPARK Hyundai Development Company to Hold '2026 Technology Proposal Contest'...Supporting SMEs in Market Expansion
All Construction Technologies Eligible for On-Site Application
Submissions Accepted Until May 25...Final Selection in August
"Fostering Mutual Growth with Participating Companies Through Commercialization Support"
On April 28, IPARK Hyundai Development Company announced that it will hold the '2026 IPARK Technology Proposal Contest', an initiative designed to discover new construction technologies from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and facilitate their actual deployment at construction sites.
The technology proposal contest was established to expand win-win cooperation with SMEs and to identify new technologies and smart construction innovations that can be applied at construction sites. Launched in 2020, this year marks its fifth iteration.
The contest is open to construction-related technologies that can be implemented on site. Submissions are divided into two categories: New Technologies & Construction Methods, and Smart Construction (DX·AX). The New Technologies & Construction Methods category covers all aspects of construction, including execution, quality, and safety management. The Smart Construction category targets digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, IT platforms, drones, Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, and building information modeling (BIM).
Selected technologies will undergo on-site demonstration, and if their effectiveness is proven, they may be adopted at IPARK Hyundai Development Company sites. Outstanding proposal companies will have the opportunity to participate in the performance-sharing program, and, depending on the demonstration results, may also be given opportunities for business partnerships, including supplier registration or procurement contracts.
Previously, at the 4th contest, Eugene Corporation's 'Latex Pressed Concrete'—a technology that reduces internal concrete cracks—was awarded and is now being expanded to IPARK Hyundai Development Company sites nationwide.
Document submissions will be accepted on the official website of IPARK Hyundai Development Company until May 25. The selection process includes the first round of reviews in May, a second round in June, and a final presentation in July, with the final outstanding entries to be announced in August.
