On April 28, KB Kookmin Bank announced that it has expanded the 'KB Hope Financial Center,' which provides debt adjustment and credit counseling services to support the economic recovery of vulnerable customers, to major hub regions nationwide.

To commemorate this expansion, an event was held on the 2nd floor of the KB Hope Financial Center Seoul Center at the KB Kookmin Bank Sangdo-dong Comprehensive Financial Center in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, attended by Lee Eogwon, Chairman of the Financial Services Commission; Lee Changkwon, Head of Future Strategy Division at KB Financial Group; and Song Yonghun, Vice President of the Credit Management Group at KB Kookmin Bank, among others.
As a leading inclusive finance model in the banking sector, the KB Hope Financial Center provides guidance on debt relief programs such as the bank's own debt adjustment and the Credit Recovery Committee, the New Start Fund, individual rehabilitation, and bankruptcy systems. It also offers information on support systems for low-income finance, including policy financial products and options to convert high-interest loans.
In particular, to ensure fast and efficient work processing, KB Financial Group has implemented the KB GenAI-based post-loan management AI agent, a generative artificial intelligence platform developed in-house, to enhance employees' counseling capabilities.
Additionally, using donations from KB Kookmin Bank, the bank operates the 'Emotional Care Counseling Service' in partnership with the Korea EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Association. Through 943 psychological counseling centers nationwide associated with the Korea EAP Association, the bank provides professional psychological counseling to customers receiving debt adjustment counseling from the Credit Recovery Committee, thereby supporting debtors' emotional stability and recovery in daily life.
