Samsung Electronics Introduces AI-Based Graphics Innovation ENSS in Exynos 2600 for the First Time
Reducing GPU Workload and Boosting Power Efficiency
Delivering High-Resolution Graphics and Advanced Visuals
Exynos 2600 Outperforms Competitors in Performance
Samsung Electronics has commercialized its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI)-powered graphics optimization technology for the first time in its mobile application processor (AP), the Exynos 2600. This AI-based graphics optimization approach enhances power efficiency while maintaining higher graphics processing unit (GPU) performance.
According to Samsung Electronics on April 28, the Exynos 2600 is the first to feature ENSS (Exynos Neural Super Sampling), an AI graphics optimization software.
ENSS consists of NSS (Neural Super Sampling), which uses AI to reconstruct low-resolution images into high-quality visuals, and NFG (Neural Frame Generation), which predicts and generates frames.
Through this technology, Samsung Electronics has reduced the computational load on the GPU, improved power efficiency, and achieved clear, uninterrupted visuals even during rapid camera switching and in complex scenes.
These improvements are also reflected in actual performance metrics. According to recently released benchmark results, the Exynos 2600 outperformed competitors by approximately 15% in graphics performance indicators (Steel Nomad Lite).
In particular, its ray tracing performance—which simulates the way light passes through, refracts, and reflects off objects for realistic rendering—ranked first on the leading GPU benchmark platform Basemark Power Board, demonstrating stable performance in demanding gaming environments.
The Exynos 2600 is the world's first 2-nanometer mobile chip produced using Samsung Foundry's state-of-the-art Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology (2nm; 1nm = one-billionth of a meter), and it is installed in the flagship Galaxy S26 standard and Plus models.
Samsung Electronics plans to gradually expand ENSS support beyond the Exynos 2600, depending on future products and software requirements.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is also detailing the roadmap for its next-generation processor, the Exynos 2700. The upcoming model will feature a structure in which the mobile AP and DRAM are arranged horizontally on the same substrate, further enhancing thermal management performance.
