BTS's "ARIRANG" Certified Platinum by French Recording Industry Association... Record-Breaking Streak Continues in Japan

Fourth Platinum Album Certified in the Country
BTS's fifth studio album, "ARIRANG," has recorded over 100,000 sales in France.
According to Big Hit Music on April 28, BTS's "ARIRANG" received Platinum certification in the album category from the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP). Platinum certification is awarded to albums that achieve combined physical sales and streaming equivalents totaling over 100,000 units. With this, BTS now holds a total of four albums certified Platinum in France.
"ARIRANG" achieved Platinum status just one month after its release. Previously, their albums "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" and "Proof" took one year and two months, respectively, to receive certification.
On the same day, according to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, their 2018 release "Let Go" surpassed 100 million streams and was certified Platinum. "ARIRANG" also recorded cumulative shipments of 750,000 units, earning Triple Platinum certification in just 11 days after its release.

In North America, BTS is currently on a world tour. Beginning with a performance at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, United States, on April 25 (local time), the group will hold 31 concerts across 12 cities, including Mexico City, Las Vegas, and Chicago. The tour spans a total of 85 shows in 34 cities, marking the largest-scale solo tour by a Korean artist to date.
