Samsung Electronics HVAC Tops European Consumer Satisfaction...Strong Performance in Heat Pumps and Air Conditioners
Ranked No. 1 in European Value-for-Money Survey
Three Consecutive Years for Heat Pumps, Six for Air Conditioners
Heating and Cooling Air and Floors with a Single Outdoor Unit
Samsung Electronics’ HVAC products, including heat pumps and air conditioners, ranked first in consumer satisfaction in the “Best Value for Money 2026” survey conducted by the German Quality and Finance Institute (ITQF).
ITQF, Italy’s largest nonprofit organization for brand preference surveys, has conducted this satisfaction survey annually since 2021. This year, the institute analyzed approximately 640,000 consumer reviews across more than 1,350 brands in 127 industries.
According to Samsung Electronics on April 26, the company has taken the top spot for three consecutive years in the heat pump category, which was newly established in 2022, and has maintained its first-place position in the air conditioner category for six consecutive years.

Heat pumps are heating solutions that supply indoor heating and hot water using air thermal energy and electricity. Compared to conventional gas boilers that burn fossil fuels to generate heat, heat pumps produce lower carbon emissions and deliver higher energy efficiency. As a result, they are gaining attention as next-generation home appliances in the European market, where carbon neutrality is a priority.
Samsung Electronics’ “EHS All-In-One,” which claimed the top spot in this year’s survey, provides air heating and cooling, floor heating and cooling, and hot water supply with just one outdoor unit. Notably, the product uses both air and water simultaneously, making it possible to heat and cool both the air and the floor at the same time.
The product also features a “Heat Recovery” function, which recycles the waste heat generated during summer cooling instead of releasing it outside the outdoor unit, thereby maximizing energy efficiency. The unit offers a design and installation convenience that harmonizes with outdoor spaces of European homes and ensures stable performance under diverse climate conditions. It can supply hot water for heating at up to 65°C even in sub-zero temperatures and is designed to provide heating even at extreme lows of minus 25°C.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Samsung Electronics’ Wind-Free Air Conditioner received high marks for user convenience and energy efficiency. Samsung Electronics has enhanced convenience by incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology into its Wind-Free technology, which creates an optimal cooling environment tailored to users’ daily routines and spaces. This enables efficient energy management and allows users to customize operation for their preferred comfortable temperatures.
In addition, Samsung Electronics has proven its brand competitiveness across the entire home appliance sector, ranking first for six consecutive years in the refrigerator and washing machine categories and for five consecutive years in the vacuum cleaner category.
Ettore Jovane, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics Italy, said, “This result demonstrates the high level of trust that Italian consumers have in Samsung Electronics’ HVAC products,” adding, “We will continue our efforts to improve the quality of life for consumers as a global leader in the HVAC industry.”
