I am running in the 9th popularly elected Pocheon mayoral election to ensure uninterrupted progress in city administration and to usher in a new era for Pocheon."
He continued, "I have made every effort, sparing no pain, to turn the golden opportunities entrusted to me by the citizens into achievable realities. As a result, Pocheon has now established a virtuous cycle between childcare and the cutting-edge defense industry, opening a new horizon of change and advancement."
In particular, Baek pointed out, "There have been people who, claiming to be members of the ruling party, made extravagant promises as though they could do everything, but ultimately, their words were only aimed at gaining votes. Over the past four years, I have operated Pocheon's city administration with the top priority of improving daily inconveniences and raising the quality of life for everyone. Each year, through communication forums in all 14 towns and districts, we have resolved nearly 1,000 cases of everyday inconvenience. We also opened the doors of previously impenetrable military facilities and strategically utilized them to lay the foundation for Pocheon's transformation into a hub of the advanced defense industry."
