The new model improves filming performance and user convenience compared to the previous DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Equipped with a 1-inch class CMOS image sensor, it allows for relatively clear shooting even in low-light environments and enhances detail representation during close-up shots. It supports 4K 240fps recording for slow-motion video and features AI-based subject tracking, which enables stable filming of moving targets. Additional user-friendly features have been added, such as physical button-controlled zoom operation.
The product is available in two options: the 'Standard Combo,' which includes the basic package, and the 'Creator Combo,' which includes accessories. The Creator Combo comes with the 'Fill Light' lighting accessory, the 'DJI Mic 3 Transmitter' wireless microphone, and a mini tripod. These accessories can also be purchased separately.
According to Lotte Himart, sales of action cameras and gimbals increased by about 30% from April 1 to 22 compared to the previous period (March 10 to 31). Compared to the same period last year, sales have roughly doubled. This growth is attributed to expanded demand for filming devices for vlogs, social media, and short-form content creation.
With the launch of this product, Lotte Himart is operating experience zones at its online shopping mall and 50 major offline stores nationwide. The company plans to allow customers to check the filming performance and features firsthand before making a purchase. Moving forward, Lotte Himart intends to expand the number of stores offering such experiences to further strengthen the hands-on element in the hobby electronics category, including filming devices.
