The Jeonnam Metropolitan Mobility Support Center announced that it conducted a campaign during the 34th Jeollanam-do Disabled Sports Festival, held in Gurye-gun, to inform attendees about how to use mobility support services and related systems.
This sports festival was held over three days from April 22 to April 24, with athletes competing in 21 events.
The center focused on promoting the procedures and policies for using mobility support services for transportation-vulnerable individuals, including persons with disabilities, to visitors and participants at the event. In addition, the center provided information about how the service is funded through the lottery fund, working to increase residents' understanding of the business structure.
In particular, the center promoted its services on-site to approximately 1,500 people through participatory programs, including a nostalgic lucky draw event and promotional panels.
The Jeonnam Metropolitan Mobility Support Center currently supports 22 city and county mobility support centers across the province through its integrated call center, offering services to guarantee transportation rights for the vulnerable with a fleet of 1,008 vehicles and 1,111 drivers.
