Cheongyang County has decided to hold the Goji Berry Festival this September at Baekse Park in Cheongyang-eup and is taking a commemorative photo.

With the catchphrase "The Holy Land of Spicy and Healthy Flavors," the festival will take place from September 11 to 13 at the Baeksé Health Park area in Cheongyang-eup.
The festival will also feature a narrative-style route, allowing visitors to enjoy chili peppers and goji berries while experiencing the stories of Cheongyang through all their senses.
An official from the county stated, "This year's festival will expand the stage beyond the main venue, aiming to attract stay-type tourism through a strategy that connects natural and cultural attractions. We are committed to both revitalizing the local economy and boosting tourism."
The festival is scheduled to coincide with the main harvest period of goji berries and chili peppers, with the goal of increasing farmers' income.
