The Democratic Party of Korea has announced the 10th, 11th, and 12th pledges of its "Chak!but Pledge Project" ahead of the 9th Nationwide Simultaneous Local Elections scheduled for June 3, 2026. The pledges include measures to restore digital financial products canceled by mistake, support for entrepreneurship, and improvements to benefits for families with multiple children.

The aim is to reduce interest losses arising from simple mistakes in an environment where digital financial services have become commonplace and to address blind spots in the protection of financial consumers. The party plans to pursue revisions to relevant terms and conditions so that savings and deposit accounts canceled due to errors can be restored to their original status if certain requirements are met.
The 11th pledge introduces measures to support entrepreneurship without the risk of losing unemployment benefits. Under the current system, if an individual registers a business after losing their job, they are deemed employed immediately, resulting in the termination of job-seeker's benefits. The Democratic Party plans to differentiate the early reemployment allowance into two tracks—one for employment and one for entrepreneurship—and to establish new criteria that reflect income gaps during the early stages of starting a business.
The 12th pledge is the "All-Pass for Families with Multiple Children in the Public Sector," enabling families with multiple children to access public benefits anywhere nationwide. Although local governments issue and operate "multi-child cards" for families with two or more children, operational issues have become apparent. The Democratic Party has proposed solutions such as establishing an integrated information system and a mobile authentication system, as well as standardizing benefit support at the national level.
