The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on the 19th that it will begin building its own generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform, 'KEXIM AI.'
This project, with a total budget of 13 billion won, aims to shorten the non-face-to-face loan and guarantee review process and provide customized consultation support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expanding overseas. The Export-Import Bank of Korea will also establish an internal system to securely utilize sensitive internal information, such as credit screening data.

An official from the Export-Import Bank of Korea stated, "This project is an investment for the qualitative advancement of policy finance," adding, "AI will handle data analysis and document preparation, allowing employees to devote more of their capacity to improving customer service."
