This agreement was established to proactively identify students experiencing complex crises, provide them with integrated support, and help them grow into global citizens.
According to the agreement, the parties will cooperate primarily in the following areas: activating customized integrated support for students to provide tailored welfare assistance for those in complex crisis situations, supporting instructors for educational programs, and operating character education and international exchange programs.
In particular, the agreement enables early identification and support for students in crisis across multiple areas, such as psychological and emotional well-being, basic academic skills, school dropout prevention, and educational welfare, moving beyond the previous segmented, project-based support.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education expects that this agreement will serve as an opportunity to foster global citizens with warm character who can empathize with the pain of others and participate in global issues.
At the signing ceremony, Superintendent Taehee Lim stated, "I believe the most desirable educational process is created when students, teachers, and parents work together as partners."
