Looking for AI Collaboration Partners or Experts? Search on the "Seoul AI Platform"
Seoul AI Platform Officially Launched on April 15
Over 1,000 Experts and 500 Companies Registered
The Seoul AI Foundation officially launched the "Seoul AI Platform," the first artificial intelligence (AI) collaboration platform among local governments, on April 15.
The Seoul AI Platform is designed to enable any citizen to easily and quickly search for AI experts and company information, as well as to facilitate collaboration. Currently, more than 1,000 experts and over 500 companies are registered, allowing users to access AI capabilities from various fields in one place.
The platform consists of five menus: ▲Experts ▲Companies ▲Policy ▲Tools ▲Collaboration Lounge. It supports users throughout the process, from searching for AI collaboration partners and proposing collaborations to exploring information.
In the Experts menu, users can view information on AI experts by domain (12 categories), area of expertise (10 categories), and affiliation (4 categories), and can propose collaborations. Experts are required to meet the foundation’s professional verification standards, such as holding relevant degrees and work experience, and only those who have passed document verification and final approval are allowed to participate.
Going forward, the foundation plans to further enhance the AI expert verification system based on user feedback, aiming to create an even higher-quality collaboration environment.
For example, public institutions seeking expert evaluation committee members for an AI-based civil complaint analysis project proposal can use this menu. By typing "Find a professor in the field of generative AI" into the AI search bar, the platform will recommend experts with relevant experience and backgrounds, enabling quick formation of an evaluation committee.
In the Companies menu, users can access information on companies with AI technologies, services, and solutions, and explore collaboration opportunities. If a private company developing AI agent services is seeking collaboration partners, it can select the "Agent" category on the company page to view a list of related companies, major technologies, and case studies at a glance.
The Policy menu collects and analyzes domestic and international AI-related press releases, after which AI summarizes the main points in three lines, making it easy for users to understand the latest AI policy and business trends by topic.
The Tools menu offers a variety of AI tools and usage information for tasks such as report writing, data analysis, and video production, thereby enhancing practical utility. The Collaboration Lounge is a space where users can register projects and recruit participants; anyone can freely propose and expand collaboration on AI-related projects.
The Seoul AI Platform is operated as an open platform accessible to all. In the future, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, its affiliated institutions, and companies seeking to adopt AI will be further supported to expand practical collaboration.
