Jeju Air Holds Aviation Safety Experience Class for National Safety Day

Jeju Air announced on April 16 that it held an "Aviation Safety Experience Class" for children and teenagers at the Songpa Safety Experience Center in Songpa-gu, Seoul, in honor of National Safety Day.

During the Aviation Safety Experience Class, cabin crew members from Jeju Air's CSR Special Team served as instructors and conducted various experiential training sessions. These included basic in-flight safety rules, how to fasten a seat belt, how to use an oxygen mask, how to use a life jacket during a water landing, and emergency evacuation procedures such as escaping via the emergency slide.
Since 2014, Jeju Air has been conducting educational programs at elementary and middle schools, as well as children's and youth facilities nationwide. As of March this year, the total number of participants in the Aviation Safety Experience Class has reached approximately 308,600.

A Jeju Air representative stated, "Through aviation safety education that is easy for everyone to understand and practice, we are raising awareness about strengthening safety," and added, "We will continue to do our best to realize various ESG values in the future."
