Held at Gaya Country Club in Gimhae from April 17 to 19
Expanded to include local festival collaboration and increased total prize money to 1 billion won
Nexen Tire announced on April 16 that, together with Nexen, the holding company of the Nexen Group, it will host the KLPGA regular tour event "Nexen·Saint Nine Masters 2026" at Gaya Country Club in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do. The tournament will take place over three days, from April 17 to April 19.
First launched in 2013, this year marks the 13th edition of the tournament, which is recognized as a representative KLPGA event in the Busan and Gyeongnam region. For 2026, the course has been set up at its longest distance ever to heighten competitiveness, and the total prize money has been increased to 1 billion won.
Key participants include defending champion Bang Shinsil, as well as Yoo Hyunjo, Park Hyunkyung, Noh Seunghee, and Lee Yewon. Nexen Tire is expanding this year’s tournament into a regional cultural event. In collaboration with Gimhae City, where Nexen’s headquarters are located, a local “Dwitgogi” food festival will be held on-site, and a portion of the proceeds from the tournament will be donated back to the local community.
For fans unable to visit the venue, the “5th Nexen·Saint Nine Masters Screen Golf Tournament” will be held at Golfzon stores nationwide, allowing participants to experience the actual tournament course virtually.
