Clean Country has decided to join efforts to strengthen transparency in product volume information and help stabilize prices.

View original imageOn April 15, Clean Country announced that it participated in the "Agreement Ceremony for Providing Important Information on Changes in Hygiene Product Volume" held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul.
This agreement was arranged by the Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Consumer Agency, together with hygiene product manufacturers and distributors, to prevent possible consumer confusion that may occur when the volume, specifications, weight, or quantity of products are reduced without a price change, and to enhance market trust.
Under the agreement, participating companies must provide advance notice through product packaging, their website, and retail locations if the unit specifications—such as product volume, specifications, weight, or quantity—are reduced by a certain level or more. They are also required to transparently disclose information before and after the change, including the scope of the changes.
In line with the purpose of this agreement, Clean Country plans to further strengthen its system for providing product information based on consumer trust. In particular, the company will apply clear and consistent notification standards when changing volume or specifications to minimize consumer confusion, and will address information asymmetry in the market by making information available through its own and distribution channels.
Furthermore, beyond mere policy compliance, the company will continue to strengthen its internal management system to ensure price stability despite changes in cost and distribution environments, aiming to alleviate the price burden on consumers.
