Yangcheon District Office and Estate Security Guard Training Institute to Offer Free Security Guard Training
Educational institution Estate Security Guard Training Institute Co., Ltd. has been selected as the implementing agency for Yangcheon District Office's employment support program for middle-aged and older adults. The institute will provide free basic security guard training to 167 middle-aged and older residents of Yangcheon District.
This program aims to provide job opportunities to those seeking reemployment in middle age and to nurture talent in the security and guard sector. Due to a recent rise in reemployment demand among the middle-aged and older population, the security and guard field has remained a consistently attractive occupation, offering relatively stable working conditions and steady personnel demand. In particular, the basic security guard training is a mandatory course for those who wish to work in security services. Completion of this course can directly lead to employment, making it a popular choice among middle-aged and older job seekers.
The courses will be held sequentially from April to September 2026. Each session will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (excluding public holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., over three days (a total of 24 hours). The curriculum covers the Security Services Act and related regulations, practical facility security work, crime prevention theory, personal protection, service mindset, and other essential topics for the field. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will be supported to secure employment through job placement services. Applicants are required to submit a copy of their resident registration, a National Health Insurance eligibility certificate, and a resume.
Estate Security Guard Training Institute is located near Magoknaru Station and is equipped with a lecture hall for up to 100 people and a rest area. Through a team of instructors with field experience and a practical training approach, the institute helps trainees adapt to work in the field and also provides employment placement support.
The Security Guard Training Institute has continuously operated training and job placement programs to support employment for the middle-aged and older population. This new project in Yangcheon District is also expected to expand employment opportunities for local residents and provide stable job connections.
